In connection with the tragic earthquake, I extend my heartfelt sympathy to those who have suffered. I would also like to express my appreciation toward a lot of support we received from all over the world.
Relief efforts were made by many athletes, sports organizations and corporation, and in them, we have witnessed the power of sports: cheering people up, creating opportunities for needed exercise and giving people hope.
In the aftermath of the disaster, we have decided to establish the United Sports Foundation in order to spread the power of sports globally. We thrives to create a healthy and active society by promoting sports and its value.
With United Sports Foundation’s various activities, we hope to contribute to a healthier world through sports.
